Jack plays Trumpet with Mr. Wilson’s Second Liners.

Jack is renowned for being equally at home in the jazz club, concert hall or festival stage. Having always been an entertainer, Jack has performed throughout his life. At the age of 11 Jack started with the English National Youth Jazz Orchestra, 10 years later he graduated top of his year at Royal Northern College of Music.

Throughout his career, Jack has worked with many notable performers, including Brandon Flowers (The Killers), Paul Heaton (Beautiful South), Chris Difford (Squeeze), Guy Barker and many others. In 2023, Jack worked closely with Rock and Roll legend Noddy Holder MBE (Slade) to build and, in turn, tour a new show. Jack is also a prolific arranger and composer, with arrangements performed at The Royal Albert Hall, Dubai Opera House, the infamous Maida Vale Studios(BBC Radio 1) and regularly at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club (Soho). In 2022 Jack was commissioned by the Royal Pagent Master to create an extensive and unique program of works for the Queens Jubilee, taking Jack to Buckingham Palace to perform his works for the Royal Family. 

Jack is a natural band leader, whose enjoyment of the music is always clear to see. In 2024, Jack is looking forward to working closely with Strictly Come Dancing’s Janette and Aljaz as Musical Director for the 2024 UK tour whilst continuing to perform internationally with the piano extraordinaire, Tom Seals.
